What I realized this year is that I have changed a lot. I have looked back on my old post and now I don't feel the same way. When I was 8 I always wanted to be 10. When I was 10 I always wanted to be 13. Well now that I'm 13 you probably think that I want to be 16; I really don't though. Now most people don't like growing up because that means that they are closer to death. However, that is not the case with me. I'm fine with death and I'm not trying to sound really creepy or anything but I believe that I will go to Heaven when I die so I have nothing to worry about because I try my best to not sin. Anyway, back on point. People grow up and they change and sometimes they change in different ways. You and your friends might not ever hang out again because everybody is always changing. I think its really weird to try to imagine a world where I don't have my best friends. Well my goal is to be nicer to people and really appreciate them more. You never know what you have until its gone. FALSE, you know what you got but you never thought that you would lose it. I am making a goal to be nicer to my friends because I don't want to lose them. No, this goal will not be written down, I'm just going to do it.

So in Future goals my first post I completely put why I don't like goals, however know I like goals and I think that they are important. I'm still not going to be the one to jump on making goals left and right, but they do control your life. I took FACS 1 (Family and Consumer Science) in my 2012 school year. We had to learn about goals and make them and take a test over types of goals. I think that, that might taking it over the limit. If you want kids to learn something, you should probably be repetitive but don't just annoy them with it. If in every class you have to make a goal and you talk about these goals quite often they will get burnt out. So just let them know that goals are important and that you need to stay realistic. Then the kids will just do their work with that goal in mind.

I think that goals can be important. If you have no goals then you won't be motivated to do anything but if you have unrealistic goals then thats not to good either. In school we have to learn a lot about goals and make them all the time, I think that schools stress goals to much. I don't look 10 or 20 years in the future. Your goals don't have to be 10 to 20 years in the future. They could be short term goals or you could only look a few years ahead. A goal is to do or obtain something, so don't make goals like becoming the first person on Pluto. Just make a goal like finishing school or getting good grades. Sometimes goals can give us stress and sometimes stress is a good thing. It keeps you alert, but don't freak over goals. I would like to go to Notre Dame so I pay attention in class but I don't spend hours studying each night.

I don't really have a lot of goals. Most people make these wild unachievable goals and fall on their face, then its kind of funny. If I did have a goal it would be to do well in school. That way I don't have to work in McDonald's with chicken nuggets that have no real chicken. I don't know why people make goals like to go some huge collage and be a lawyer, while graduating and the top of their class. Then they are a chicken nugget with no real chicken. However all the teachers say that goals are important and I agree but there is no need to go full out on goals that are never really going to happen. Then the kids that listen to their teachers and become a lawyer and have all this false hope. Well I think that those children are just nuggets.
